The Union City Bears thwarted the visiting Iroquois Braves football team by a count of 14-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Union City upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Saegertown (Saegertown, PA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Saegertown lost 48-6 in their recent league outing against Mercer (Mercer, PA)

With the loss, Iroquois moves to 1-3 on the season. The Braves host Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA) to encounter the Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, September 22.
