The Union City Bears (Union City, PA) football defeated the host Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA), 20-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears face the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 bout, on Friday, September 29. Union City will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 68-7 non-league loss to Oil City (Oil City, PA).
