September 15, 2023: Alden, NY 14004 Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Holland Dutchmen (Holland, NY) in a ECIC IV challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Alden will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Dutchmen enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Griffith Institute (Springville, NY).
The Griffins now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Holland for a ECIC IV challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Griffith Institute will face a Dutchmen team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to East Aurora (East Aurora, NY). The Dutchmen record now stands at 0-2.
