Oklahoma High School Softball - Mount St. Mary nudges MacArthur
September 15, 2023: Lawton, OK 73501 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Mount St. Mary Rockets (Oklahoma City, OK) and the host MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK), saw Mount St. Mary's softball squad nip MacArthur by a count of 14-13.
The Rockets now sport a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they host Kingfisher for a non-league match on Monday, September 18. Mount St. Mary will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Elk City (Elk City, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-12.
With the loss, MacArthur falls to 9-19 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Duncan (Duncan, OK) to face the Demons in a 5A District 1 match on Monday, September 18. The Demons enter the match with a record of 13-13. Duncan lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Durant (Durant, OK)
