The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) and the visiting Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS), saw Ocean Springs's volleyball squad beat Northwest Rankin by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Ocean Springs upgrades its record to 20-2 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Madison Central (Madison, MS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 20-5. Madison Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton (Clinton, MS)

The Cougars now own a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pearl for a Class 6 Region 6 match on Tuesday, September 19. Northwest Rankin will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 3-19.
