In Monday's non-league challenge, the host South Caldwell Spartans volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Foard Tigers.

With the win, South Caldwell advances its record to 7-3 on the season. The Spartans host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-8. Freedom lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC)

With the loss, Foard drops to 11-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to play the Red Tornadoes in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 18. The Red Tornadoes come into the outing with a record of 3-6.
