New York High School Soccer - Taconic Hills toppled by Cairo-Durham
September 15, 2025: Cairo, NY 12413 Cairo-Durham Mustangs (Cairo, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Taconic Hills Titans (Craryville, NY), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cairo-Durham moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a Patroon test on Wednesday, September 17. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-0. Maple Hill won 1-0 in their recent league test against Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY)
The Titans now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Maple Hill for a Patroon outing on Friday, September 19. Taconic Hills will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Cairo-Durham (Cairo, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
