Missouri High School Soccer - Winfield knocks off Canton
September 15, 2025: Winfield, MO 63389 In Monday's non-league outing, the host Winfield Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Canton Tigers.
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Holt (Wentzville, MO). The Indians come into the Gateway Central test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Holt by St. Charles West (St. Charles, MO), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Missouri Military Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. Canton will clash with a Fighting Colonels team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Fulton (Fulton, MO). The Fighting Colonels record now stands at 3-1.
