September 15, 2025: Elberton, GA 30635 The Washington-Wilkes Tigers softball squad (Washington, GA), was routed 9-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA)
With the triumph, Elbert County improves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Rabun County (Tiger, GA) to face the Wildcats in a 1A D-I Region 8 contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Rabun County lost 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA)
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 8 bout, on Thursday, September 18. Washington-Wilkes will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
