The Central Rockets were victorious over the host Freeport Pretzels volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Rockets now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Huntley for a Fox Valley outing on Tuesday, September 16. Central will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Freeport drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Pretzels host Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to confront the Bucs in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 match on Tuesday, September 16.
