In Thursday's non-league contest, the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Buford Wolves (Buford, GA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Golden Lions face the Cross Keys Indians (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 contest, on Saturday, September 18. St. Pius X Catholic will attempt to better on its 26-1 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Tucker (Tucker, GA).

With the loss, Buford moves to 18-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a AAAAAA Region 8 contest on Tuesday, September 21.
