The Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) football overcame the visiting Borah Lions (Boise, ID), 37-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Boise Brave (Boise, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho - River bout, on Friday, September 23. Mountain View will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Brave enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 42-21 league loss to Nampa (Nampa, ID).
