Maryland High School Football - Potomac overwhelms Central

September 16, 2022: Oxon Hill, MD 20745

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) and the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), observed Potomac's football squad bounce Central by a count of 56-0.

The Wolverines now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 24. Potomac will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 50-0 league loss to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A contest, on Saturday, September 24. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Northeast (Pasadena, MD).
