The Patuxent Panthers football squad scored 49 points and restricted the visiting La Plata Warriors to 28 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntingtown for a non-league battle on Friday, September 23. Patuxent will play a Hurricanes squad coming off a 20-14 league win over Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland - Potomac battle, on Friday, September 23. La Plata will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
