Maryland High School Football - La Plata held off by McDonough
September 23, 2022: La Plata, MD 20646 McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), 18-16 in a league test.
With the triumph, McDonough improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 30. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-2. Great Mills lost 43-28 in their recent league test against Chopticon (Morganza, MD)
With the loss, La Plata drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Westlake (Waldorf, MD) to battle the Wolverines in a Southern Maryland - Potomac test on Friday, September 30. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 0-4. Westlake lost 26-7 in their recent league test against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)
