Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountain Lions confront the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Altoona will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Golden Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Central (Martinsburg, PA).

The Seals now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a Heartland I challenge on Monday, September 18. Selinsgrove will confront a Ironmen team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 6-2.
