September 16, 2023: Doylestown, OH 44230 The Smithville Smithies soccer team scored 3 points and limited the host Chippewa Chipps to 0 in the Smithies league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Smithies face the Norwayne Bobcats (Creston, OH) in a Wayne County contest, on Saturday, September 23. Smithville will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
The Chipps now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norwayne for a Wayne County contest on Tuesday, September 19. Chippewa will face a Bobcats team coming off a 5-0 league win over Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-0.
