Illinois High School Soccer - Westlake Christian Academy nudges Lake County Baptist
September 16, 2023: Grayslake, IL 60030 Westlake Christian Academy Eagles (Grayslake, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lake County Baptist Lions (Waukegan, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Westlake Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Conquerors enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 8-2 league win over South Beloit (South Beloit, IL).
The Lions now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette Manor Baptist Academy for a Illinois Association of Christian Schools challenge on Monday, September 25.
