Missouri High School Softball - Republic bounces Chrisman
September 16, 2023: Independence, MO 64050 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Republic Tigers (Republic, MO) and the host Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO), witnessed Republic's softball squad prevail over Chrisman by a count of 10-0.
The Tigers now sport a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Webb City for a Class 4 District 12 match on Monday, September 18. Republic will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Fort Osage (Independence, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Chrisman moves to 4-15 on the season. The Bears host Notre Dame de Sion (Kansas City, MO) to face the Storm in a non-league match on Monday, September 18. The Storm go into the match with a record of 2-4. Notre Dame de Sion won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO)
