Missouri High School Softball - Glasgow bounces Sturgeon
September 16, 2023: Glasgow, MO 65254 Glasgow Yellowjackets (Glasgow, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Franklin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Glasgow will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Community (Laddonia, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Sturgeon falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Atlanta (Atlanta, MO) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Atlanta lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Bevier (Bevier, MO)
