September 16, 2023: Cedar Rapids, IA 52411 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) and the visiting Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA), saw Xavier's volleyball squad beat Burlington by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Xavier upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Saints travel to Wahlert (Dubuque, IA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
The Grayhounds now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Grinnell for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16.
