The Giles Spartans topped the host Narrows Green Waves volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Spartans face the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Tuesday, September 17. Giles will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Maroon Tide go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Narrows (Narrows, VA).

The Green Waves (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers go into the Pioneer game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Bath County went down by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
