The Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) flag football defeated the host Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), 42-20 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

The Thunder (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Torrey Pines was toppled by JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 20-12, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the Queen Creek Bulldogs (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 17. Basha will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 51-0 non-league win over Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ).
