California High School Flag Football - Hoover thwarted by Scripps Ranch
September 16, 2025: San Diego, CA 92131 Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) followers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA), 39-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Scripps Ranch advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to meet the Dons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Dons come into the test with a record of 9-2. Cathedral Catholic won 27-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Mission Bay (San Diego, CA)
The Cardinals (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Olympian (Chula Vista, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Olympian went down by Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA), 26-14, in a league test.
