Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, North Henderson was beaten by Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Smoky Mountain will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
