Illinois High School Soccer - Jacksonville knocks off Normal University
September 16, 2025: Jacksonville, IL 62650 The Jacksonville Crimsons soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Normal University Pioneers to 1 in the Crimsons league victory on Tuesday.
The Crimsons now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Athens/Greenview/Illini Central for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 17. Jacksonville will play a Warriors squad coming off a 10-1 non-league win over North Mac (Virden, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Normal University moves to 7-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Lincoln (Lincoln, IL) to face the Railsplitters in a Central State Eight game on Thursday, September 18. The Railsplitters come into the game with a record of 1-10. Lincoln lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Springfield (Springfield, IL)
