Illinois High School Soccer - Normal University knocks off Lincoln
September 18, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 The Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), 7-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Pioneers now hold a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 20. Normal University will battle a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 12-0.
The Railsplitters (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Mahomet-Seymour held off Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 1-0, in a league contest.
