Texas High School Volleyball - Fossil Ridge overwhelmed by Azle

Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Azle advances its record to 20-11 on the season. The Hornets travel to Saginaw (Saginaw, TX) to face the Rough Riders in a 5A Region I District 5 test on Friday, September 19. The Rough Riders go into the test with a record of 13-14. Saginaw lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX)

The Panthers now have a 14-14 record. They play next when they host Granbury for a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, September 19. Fossil Ridge will play a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 16-18.
