Texas High School Volleyball - Liberty over Big Spring
September 16, 2025: Big Spring, TX 79720 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX) and the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), observed Liberty's volleyball team top Big Spring by a count of 3-0.
The Patriots (30-2) will now prepare for their contest against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors enter the 4A Region I District 5 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Estacado notched a victory over Lake View (San Angelo, TX), 3-2, in a league contest.
Next, the Steers battle the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 battle, on Saturday, September 20. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 9-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX).
