September 16, 2025: Sesser, IL 62884 Sesser-Valier Red Devils (Sesser, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Christopher Bearcats (Christopher, IL), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Sesser-Valier improves its record to 2-8 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Trico (Campbell Hill, IL) to play the Pioneers in a Black Diamond West challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Trico won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Johnston City (Johnston City, IL)
Next, the Bearcats play the Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Christopher will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL).
