Oregon High School Volleyball - Grant Union overwhelmed by Prairie City
September 16, 2025: Prairie City, OR 97869 Prairie City Panthers (Prairie City, OR) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntington (Huntington, OR). The Locomotives come into the 1A High Desert challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Prospectors play the Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Grant Union will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Imbler (Imbler, OR).
