September 16, 2025: Ashburn, VA Independence (Ashburn, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Osbourn Eagles (Manassas, VA), 3-1 in a league challenge.
The (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Unity Reed (Manassas, VA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Unity Reed was beaten by Osbourn (Manassas, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Unity Reed Lions (Manassas, VA) in a Cedar Run challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Osbourn will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Battlefield (Haymarket, VA).
