September 16, 2025: Vernon, AL 35592 The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) and the host Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), saw Sulligent's volleyball squad nudge Lamar County by a score of 3-2.
With the win, Sulligent improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to South Lamar (Millport, AL) to encounter the Stallions in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. The Stallions go into the battle with a record of 8-4. South Lamar won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL)
The Bulldogs now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sulligent for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Lamar County will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-2.
