September 16, 2025: Bartonville, IL 61607 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) and the visiting Washington Panthers (Washington, IL), saw Limestone's volleyball squad nudge Washington by a score of 2-1.
With the win, Limestone improves its record to 14-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to Morton (Morton, IL) to encounter the Potters in a Mid-Illini test on Thursday, September 18. The Potters go into the test with a record of 8-0. Morton won 2-0 in their recent league test against Pekin (Pekin, IL)
The Panthers now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Peoria for a Mid-Illini challenge on Thursday, September 18. Washington will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-4.
