California High School Volleyball - Plumas Charter bounced by Portola
September 16, 2025: Portola, CA 96122 Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plumas Charter Warriors (Greenville, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Portola improves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to North Valleys (Reno, NV) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-13. North Valleys lost 3-1 in their recent league test against McQueen (Reno, NV)
The Warriors now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyalton for a Pioneer challenge on Thursday, September 18. Plumas Charter will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chester (Chester, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-7.
