Minnesota High School Volleyball - Robbinsdale Cooper can't get by Richfield

Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN). The Islanders come into the Tri-Metro challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, DeLaSalle was nudged by Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Visitation Blazers (Mendota Heights, MN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Robbinsdale Cooper will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Blazers go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN).
