September 16, 2025: Huntington, WV 25704 In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) volleyball team held off the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), by a margin of 2-1.
The Timberwolves now possess a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Hurricane for a Mountain State bout on Thursday, September 18. Spring Valley will clash with a Redskins team coming off a 2-1 league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 7-4.
The Flying Eagles (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Capital held off Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 2-0, in a league match.
