The Walled Lake Central Vikings football team (Walled Lake, MI), was beaten 28-17 in Friday's league challenge with the host Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI)

The Mavericks (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors come into the Lakes Valley challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Walled Lake Western achieved victory over South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 21-14, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kettering for a Lakes Valley challenge on Friday, September 24. Walled Lake Central will meet a Captains team coming off a 36-10 league loss to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Captains record now stands at 0-4.
