September 17, 2023: Benton, KY 42025 The Christian Fellowship Eagles (Benton, KY) volleyball nudged the visiting Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY), 2-1 in Sunday's non-league outing.
With the win, Christian Fellowship upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Murray (Murray, KY) to face the Tigers in a District 4 outing on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 7-13. Murray lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY)
The Eagles now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Brown for a non-league outing on Monday, September 18. Portland Christian will face a Bears squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Shawnee (Louisville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 5-8.
