Virginia High School Volleyball - Freeman can't hold off Godwin
September 17, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 The Godwin Eagles tipped the visiting Freeman Mavericks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA) in a Colonial game, on Thursday, September 19. Godwin will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record.
The Mavericks (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Varina held off Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
