September 17, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110 Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sandia moves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Matadors host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-2. Del Norte won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM)
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Eldorado for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Albuquerque will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
