Maine High School Soccer - Edward Little nudges Mt. Ararat
September 17, 2024: Auburn, ME 04210 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) and the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), saw Edward Little's soccer squad hold off Mt. Ararat by a score of 1-0.
The Red Eddies (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME). The River Hawks enter the Class A - North battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Skowhegan was edged by Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) in a Class A - North battle, on Saturday, September 21. Mt. Ararat will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 4-3 league win over Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).
