September 17, 2024: Gallipolis, OH 45631 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) and the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), saw Gallia Academy's soccer squad triumph over Ironton by a score of 10-0.
The Blue Devils (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Dragons enter the Ohio Valley battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Fairland ran past Portsmouth West (West Portsmouth, OH), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Fighting Tigers confront the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 19. Ironton will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Boyd County (Ashland, KY).
