Ohio High School Soccer - Marlington knocks off Minerva
September 17, 2024: Minerva, OH 44657 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Marlington Dukes soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Minerva Lions.
The Dukes (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lake (Uniontown, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Lake was overwhelmed by Jackson (Massillon, OH), 6-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Lions play the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. Minerva will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to River View (Warsaw, OH).
