Ohio High School Soccer - Salem nudges Marlington
September 24, 2024: Alliance, OH 44601 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Salem Quakers (Salem, OH) and the host Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH), saw Salem's soccer squad hold off Marlington by a count of 1-0.
The Quakers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Warriors enter the Northeastern Buckeye battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, West Branch tipped Carrollton (Carrollton, OH), 8-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Dukes battle the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 28. Marlington will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
