September 17, 2024: Miranda, CA 95553 Willits Wolverines (Willits, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host South Fork Cubs (Miranda, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Willits advances its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a North Central I test on Tuesday, September 24. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-1. Lower Lake won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Middletown (Middletown, CA)
The Cubs now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arcata for a Humboldt - Del Norte - Big 5 test on Saturday, September 21. South Fork will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 8-0 league win over St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
