September 17, 2024: Wakefield, MA 01880 Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Wakefield Memorial moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Watertown (Watertown, MA) to clash with the Raiders in a Middlesex test on Monday, September 23. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Spartans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Watertown for a Middlesex test on Thursday, September 19. Stoneham will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 league win over Wilmington (Wilmington, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
