The Aurora Huskies got by the visiting Northwest Vikings softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Bison go into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 9-3 league win over Fillmore Central/Exeter-Milligan (Geneva, NE).

The Vikings (15-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Haymakers go into the non-league challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Cozad held off Lexington (Lexington, NE), 17-6, in a non-league challenge.
