September 17, 2024: Naruna, VA 24576 The Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) volleyball knocked off the host William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Colonels now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood bout on Thursday, September 19. Altavista will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, William Campbell drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to clash with the Governors in a Dogwood bout on Thursday, September 19. The Governors come into the bout with a record of 0-8. Nelson County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
