September 17, 2024: Douglas, AL 35964 In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Boaz Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Douglas Eagles.
The Pirates (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Holly Pond was beaten by Vinemont (Vinemont, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 11-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL).
